Siloxane Sealer – JUNO

Products

Siloxane Sealer

Siloxane based water repellent impregnation for porous mineral surfaces. Formulated based on modified polysiloxane compounds. Reduces penetration of water and avoids the risk of frost damage. Penetrates well into the open pores of the substrate, providing durable water repellency, while still allowing water vapour diffusion in both directions without altering the appearance of the impregnated surface.

Recommended for improving protection against rain on
vertical surfaces. Maintains breathability on non-vitrified
brick, sandstone, natural stone, concrete and masonry,
etc. Forms a long-lasting water-repellent barrier that
protects the surface from the elements and won’t crack
or peel with time. Does not alter the appearance of the
treated surface.

  • Prevents capillary water absorption
  • Reduces frost damage
  • Transpireable - allowing water vapour diffusion in both directions
  • Reduces efflorescence formation
  • Reduces dirt retention on treated surface
  • Protects from weather and improves thermal insulation
  • Does not change the appearance of the substrate
  • Easy to apply
  • No tack
  • Quick Drying
  • Higher durability and resistance than conventional treatments

Apply until saturated preferrably by brush. Can also be applied by nap roller, or spraying. When using roller saturate roller
with product. Keep a wet edge while rolling. Do not allow to puddle, foam
or run. When spraying set at a fine spray and apply using a circular motion. To
eliminate puddling or to achieve a more uniform finish, backroll immediately
after spraying. Stir the product until completely homogenized.
Apply to clean surfaces, completely dry, free of efflorescence (saltpetre) and mould.
Be careful to avoid splashes on adjacent surfaces that may be attacked by the solvents contained in the product.
