Application with brush or trowel (undiluted).
METAL SURFACES. Abrasive blasting up to Sa 2 ½-3 grade according to ISO 8501-1 standard, leaving a minimum roughness of 50 microns.
CONCRETE SURFACES. Wait until concrete is fully set (min. 1 month). The surface must be completely dry. Substrate humidity level must not exceed 4%. (Measured at 2 cm depth). The surface must be firm and free from dust, laitance or grease and poorly adhered parts. Minimum tensile strength 15 kg/cm².
Remove grease and rubber stains with solvents or detergents, then rinse the detergent with water. Use shot blasting and milling if stains do not disappear by washing.
Laitance and curing agents must be removed by shot blasting and milling, subsequently vacuuming the resulting dust, to obtain a rough surface free from foreign materials.
The surface to be painted must have sufficient roughness to ensure adhesion. It is advisable to apply a preliminary test-patch on a representative area (1m²) to ensure and verify the desired result.
Stir the paint until complete homogenization.
Apply on consistent, clean surfaces, free from efflorescence (saltpetre) and mould.
Avoid applying the product on wet surfaces.
MIXTURE PREforTION. Stir component B in its container and once homogenized add component A slowly to it, while performing mechanical stirring at low speed. Shake for 1 minute until perfectly homogenized. Once mixed, a chemical reaction begins, so only mix the components knowing you will start the application immediately after. IMPORTANT! POTLIFE OF THE CATALYZED MIXTURE is 25 minutes. Do not use the product after potlife has elapsed.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
During the application and curing process the temperature must be kept above 15°C. Relative humidity should not exceed 65%. There should be no rising damp. The substrate temperature must be at least 3°C ??above the dew point. Avoid condensation. Do not apply with risk of rain or strong wind. The paint product's temperature must be below 25°C.
Stir component A in its container and once homogenized add component B slowly (in the indicated proportions), while mechanically stirring at low speed. Shake for 2 minutes until perfectly homogenized. Let the mixture rest for 10 minutes before applying it. For more information consult TDS.
